The works of the famous Ukrainian satirist and humorist Ostap Vyshny have been pleasing us for more than half a century - it is simply impossible to read them without laughter. The humor of the writer is very close to the folk anecdote. Present in the "smiles" wise, always ironically smiling narrator uses "juicy" vernacular, resorting to concise folk jokes and phrases.

The book includes the best "smiles" of Ostap Vyshnya. Interestingly, much of what is described is relevant today.
