Very few photographers are capable of true art, ennobling a piece of solid craft with their own creativity into an emotionally poignant work. Teddy Marks is undoubtedly one of them. His nude photographs are highly aesthetic testimonials of female beauty, in equal measure his photos carry little stories, tales of happiness and a zest for life, of passion and profound desire, of reverie and ecstasy, and moments where the women completely submerge within themselves. Their poses sometimes seem innocent, like in an unobserved moment, sometimes lascivious as if to sexually provoke, but above all, their facial expressions are expressive at all times and conceal by perfectly simulated authenticity that everything is deliberately staged.
