English is one of the main languages in international communication and business. In Kenya, English is the official language and the medium of instruction in all subjects (except other languages) in upper primary school and beyond. However, despite the importance attached to English in Kenya, the performance of students in national examinations has been wanting. This book explores the competences of teachers in enhancing interaction in the teaching of oral communication skills in English. The book recommends that teachers of English and other languages should strengthen the teaching of oral communication skills in order to enhance students' performance and competence in the languages.
