Reading is essentially a complex one that involves a lot of things, not just to recite writing, but also involves visual, thinking, psycholinguistic, and metacognitive activities. As a thought process, reading includes the activity of word recognition, literal understanding, interpretation, critical reading, and creative understanding. DRTA strategy (Directed Reading Thinking Activity) is a teacher strategy to motivate effort and concentration of students by engaging them intellectually and encourage them to formulate questions and hypotheses, process information, and evaluate temporary solutions.
