Populism is often considered a malign or even dangerous phenomenon in European politics yet it remains unclear what populism is and who its exponents are. This study identifies populist parties across 31 European countries and explains their electoral performance, arguing that they should be treated seriously but not seen as a threat to democracy. ukryj opis
